Liquitex Paints 6408 Editorial Review
Liquitex Professional Effects Medium, 237ml (8-oz), Crackle Paste is designed to add a unique texture to your artwork. While it is marketed to provide a crackle effect, many users have reported mixed results, with some not achieving the desired crackle despite following the application instructions. The paste is user-friendly and sandable, a significant plus for artists, but issues like the product turning chalky white and concerns about cleanliness have been raised. Notably, it can be cleaned up with warm water, although some have noted problems with product quality upon opening, such as mold and pre-used pots. Nevertheless, the medium's application versatility for various surfaces, both indoor and outdoor, remains a strong point in its favor.
