GoControl Programmable BRO-NTBZ48 Editorial Review
If you are looking for a simple Z-wave thermostat that allows you to integrate with your home automation setup, then the GoControl Z-Wave Battery-Powered Smart Thermostat could be right for you. This thermostat has a simple user interface that will work either manually or connected to a Z-wave hub. If you don't care about schedules, manual mode is perfectly fine. But, if you do, then a setup like the Wink hub is more universal and you will save money on extra thermostat features that you don't even use. With regards to temperature monitoring, from experience, the stat itself is not capable of temp alerts. Using a hub such as SmartThings the app is definitely capable of sending temperature alerts and I believe Alexa can as well. It has a very simple installation process and is easy to pair with Homeseer controller, it also has a good range of features and works with Alexa, ST and GH.
