Wartech Pocket Knives & Folding Knives Editorial Review
The Wartech M-9 Bayonet is a Chinese-made knife which has both Pros and Cons according to customer reviews. The knife is around 12.75 inches in length and is suitable for firearms that accommodate a standard bayonet lug. Customers have been asking about whether the bayonet will fit their specific firearms, and the response is that it fits most AR-15, M4, and M16-style bayonet lugs. It can be tweaked to fit a Mossberg 500 or Tokarev Tx3, but some Dremel work is required. One customer praised the knife and said that it slid on effortlessly, locked into place with little movement, and that they were happy with their purchase, while another found it to be a terrible knife, rough around the edges, and unsuited for outdoor use. A few customers mentioned that the knife is a Chinese copy of the Smith & Wesson M9 Bayonet but a fraction of the cost, and for its intended use, it should suffice. The knife's handle is screwed onto a narrow pipe, with a pommel screw, and while it's not made of very high-quality materials, it has a sturdy enough build to suit its purpose. The sheath is made of high-impact plastic with a nylon belt loop and straps. The bayonet has a unique look, and it's perfect for someone who wants to add to their cosplay gear or hang it off their gun to look tough, but it's not great for those who need a durable knife for outdoor use. **
